The re-fit of the building was approached under difficult specifications of flood protection as well as the building's usability and the figural design of the existing building. On the one hand, no large-scale expansion was possible, but the sales area should be doubled.

By raising the top floor and a small-scale extension, it was even possible to integrate an additional manager's apartment. The materialization in stone, wooden shingles and glass allows the functions to be integrated into the environment. An open shop concept completes the revitalization.
